Opponent-adjusted

Adjust offensive and defensive production for opponent quality, scheme, line play, explosiveness and game script. Raw averages are not projections.

Injury-aware

Review injury status and positional impact. Unverified reports create uncertainty; they do not trigger invented numeric adjustments.

Edge or pass

Calculate implied break-even and compare against a calibrated model probability. Only qualify bets at +6 percentage points or better.

This starter app deliberately does not manufacture model probabilities. An actual matchup probability engine requires historical play-by-play data, injury-impact estimates, calibration and backtesting. You can record your model probability in the tracker; the app checks the price and edge exactly.

How Refresh works

1. Pulls the selected week's NCAA FBS scoreboard from ESPN.
2. If an odds key is provided, requests current NCAAF spreads, totals and moneylines from The Odds API.
3. If an injury feed URL is configured, reads player statuses and marks affected matchups.
4. Updates the game board with timestamps and explicit data freshness.

Browser-side API keys can be visible to anyone using this site. For a public deployment, move keys behind a secure backend. ESPN and injury providers may block browser requests; a backend proxy is recommended for reliable production use.

Expected injury JSON: [{"team":"Florida International Panthers","player":"Player Name","status":"Questionable","position":"QB","updated":"2026-10-13T12:00:00Z"}]. Injury flags are informational until a validated player-impact model is connected.
